Jeff Gogué

I’m Jeff Gogue (pronounced go-gway), a self-taught tattooist who began my career in 1999. My work is deeply influenced by the balance of intricacy and simplicity, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics and Art Nouveau with a painterly, dynamic approach. I strive to create tattoos that feel timeless—bold, intentional, and deeply connected to both the wearer and the craft. Over the years, my dedication to tattooing has expanded beyond its technical aspects. I’m passionate about exploring the philosophy behind tattooing and pushing the boundaries of what it means to create lasting work on the body. My career has led me to teach, mentor, and share my experiences through seminars, art workshops, and writing. Currently, I work out of Olinjär Studio, where I focus not only on tattooing but also on writing, publishing, and teaching. Alongside my wife, Laura Jade, I continue to explore how art connects to personal transformation and storytelling. Through all my creative pursuits, my goal is to inspire curiosity, intention, and authenticity.
